For area residents and visitors from around the country, volunteering is one of the best ways to be a part of one of golf’s most prestigious National Championships.

Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, IN, will play host to the U.S. Senior Open Championship July 27 – August 2, 2009. Volunteers will welcome and assist 156 of the world’s best professional and amateur golfers and the more than 150,000 spectators expected to attend the week of the championship.

Specific volunteer roles include: corporate hospitality, gallery control, leaderboards, VIP/player transportation, as well as several other committees. A full description of each committee is provided on the championship website to help volunteers determine their preferences.
